I actually don't feel bad about liking this song (feel a lil bit validated by the fact that Tom Ewing spent three paragraphs on Taylor Swift in his "the decade in pop" piece for Pitchfork), but I'm sure that most would call this a guilty pleasure.

Psssh. Taylor Swift is legit, and P.O.D. is beyond godawful. Honestly, "Alive" is like something that dribbled out of Glenn Beck's mouth right after he was done tossing Satan's salad. I'm serious, even when I was 13 and liked TOOL, I understood that P.O.D. was beyond terrible. What else do you like, "Youth of the Nation"?

no BANGERGHEYSAUZ. You have the worst pick by far in this thread. That Third Eye Blind song is the worst thing I've ever heard in my life. Ever.

I have a really large place in my heart for European pop from the 80s, where the vocals are in English, and the lyrics are so obtuse that they're obviously sung by someone who's not that familiar with the language. The lady below sold 20 million records.
