I've had friends tell me how they really like these new Stones Throw artists Mayer Hawthorne and Dam Funk. I've only heard a few tracks from both, but pretty cool.

Dam Funk has been bubblin for a minute with a bunch of vinyl releases for Stones Throw. I copped his new album. It's good, but not as mindblowing as I had hoped.

The Mayer Hawthorne track is cool, but I'm not sure if I could take an entire album of it.
