Wolfgang Amadeus Phoenix came out early! Woot!  It was supposed to be out on May 26th, but it's out already. Amazon said it came out on the 12th but I don't know if that's right - I would probably have noticed.

What are you waiting for, go check it out! I'm putting it in the running for best album of the year, already. Can you tell I'm excited? :)

I really like it and I think it's their best record they have released to date.

'1901' is the single of the year with Grizz Bear's 'Two Weeks' right behind it.

I was confused by this thread at first because the record leaked ages ago.

I thought they released another album.

It did leak ages ago, but I'm one of those crazy people who likes to pay for music I like, in order to support the band. /shrug

I happen to be someone who can't wait for the material and downloads it...and then buys it.

Phoenix with the new album, Meat Puppets sound as though they're truly firing on all cylinders again.
