Ayo all y'all dorkz: Anyone else hear the Passion Pit full length. I didn't really dig the EP all that much, and I really didn't want to like the full-length, but it's pretty good. They really went the right direction in expanding their sound, they didn't try to be massive, they just augmented their tight indie-pop.

I agree. I actually liked the EP, but I didn't think that noise could work for a full disc. But they definitely made the right improvements. I'm a little worried there's gonna be a huge amount of over-praise that might hang the thing with some annoying baggage. But the music itself is good stuff.

I wasn't a fan of most of the EP. I liked sleepyhead initially until I heard it in that PSP commercial about 50 times, but for the most part the rest of it just annoyed me.
That being said, I like the LP. Specifically Moth's Wings, Eyes as Candles and The Reeling... A lot of people I know are overrating this album, making me want to devalue my praise, but I can't help but find it to be a seriously entertaining listen on the whole... |

As far as "AllThingsConsidered" is concerned, there's not much you could say to the masses that would convince us that Sony BMG has our best intentions in mind; especially when it comes to Passion Pit...
