Tonight I was over in Long Island filming a music video for this up and coming rapper, Papoose.  I was freezing my ass off doing lighting and grip work in a random lumber warehouse, and lets just say I felt really, really bad for the half-naked girls dancing in the video.

I had never heard of him before yesterday, when my friend called me up saying he needed help with the video.  Seems to be pretty popular on youtube and has 40k ish listeners on last.fm.  His stuff doesn't seem too shabby... have any of you guys listened before?

Papoose was like the next big thing 3 years ago, then kinda fell off in a major way as a victim of industry politics.

I'll be curious to see who releases an album first: Papoose or Saigon.
