yeah i don't like Pam or Jim. Together they're the worst though.

Has anyone seen Battle Royale? About a bunch of high school kids who are sent to an island to kill each other? That just turned up from my Netflix queue...

By the way, the Thin Blue Line is heavily recommended. And for those who haven't seen it in a while, it holds up well.

All of the seasons (1-4). None are on instant though--they're all just on discs.

I watched Battle Royale last night. It's demented. I highly recommend it, but only if you've got a strong stomach. It's non-stop violence from start to finish. But you probably expect that if you're aware of the premise.

I haven't seen the Machine Girl, but this definitely wasn't cheesy. If Takashi Miike directed Lord of the Flies it would look like Battle Royale.
