Dexter was good for a season or so, but now it all revolves around acting like he'll get caught but him never ever getting close.

I agree re. dexter, season 1 was awesome, it gets werse every season...

Californication was bad the three epis I watched. So maybe it is better.

I enjoy it,, Duchovny plays the nymphomaniac and alcoholic pretty well because I've heard he is in real life... season 2 and 3 are not as good as number 1, that involved more precarious sexual encounters and belligerent alcoholism...

Seems like the experiment was a success.

More than 1.5 million sets of eyeballs tuned to the season four opener for Dexter and 821,000 stayed to watch the opener for Californication. That's 3 million single eyeballs for Dexter and more than 1.6 million for Californication.

I watched Dexter on Netflix instant instead.

I only get two movies a month with Netflix so I should probably watch these shows on Youtoobs.

For four more bucks a month you could get unlimited DVDs and unlimited streaming. Not a bad deal, really.

I have unlimited streaming, and I'm on the two dvds a month plan. Though I stream via X-Box 360, so maybe that's a different deal than watching the stuff on your computer.

I like the sound of the $4.99 I'm on though and I honestly have trouble even getting to watch two a month although maybe with the holidays coming up I can up it.

Damn. I hope that doesn't go down. That's how I watch all the NBC comedy shows and It's Always Sunny because I don't have TV service. I also heard rumors that Hulu might become an app for iPhones and X-Box users, but that was like six months ago, and I haven't heard anything since. If you have to start paying to watch, I bet that'll die too.
