Nike’s holding a little contest to find out who can design “the hottest shoe on the information superhighway,” and Prefix is in the running. Our sea-green-and-yellow Dunk Low Parque was dreamed up by Prefix‘s creative-design consultant (and sometimes reviewer) Jay Guillermo, and we think it’s the perfect summertime shoe.
But here’s where you come in: if our sneaks get the most votes, we’ll win 100 gift certificates to give away. And we’ll be giving them to you, our loyal readers.
So vote for the Prefix sneaker and put your name in the running to win free kicks. Here’s how:
* Vote for the shoe that says “Customized by Dave Park” but should say “Customized by Prefix Magazine/Jay Guillermo.” (We’re trying to get that changed. Sorry, Jay.)
* Vote daily (you’re only allowed one vote per day, but thanks to everyone who immediately wanted to stuff the ballot box). The contest will run through June 3 (so it’d be cool if you voted every day through then), and the winner will be announced the next day.
* If you really want to help out, please e-mail your friends and ask them to vote daily, too.
* Have you voted today? (Did I mention you can vote daily?)
