No need to beat around the bush; you're lazy. That's right; you're lazy as hell, especially during the summer. The only time you shift from the couch that sits in your A/C-less apartment is when you hear the shrill sound of the ice cream truck. But you just get bitter watching little kids stuff their faces with artificially flavored ice, because you can't actually afford a cone yourself.

[more:]

But what if there was a way to get you off your couch without costing you a penny? Prefix, understanding that the need to quench your thirst for music while still saving enough money to literally quench your thirst is of utmost importance, has assembled a listing of free shows going on in New York City this summer (because we know you're too lazy to do it yourself). Stick with the Prefix plan of action for the summer and you may even have enough pocket change to indulge in a snow cone. Check back for periodic revisions/additions.
