Carrie Brownstein is going to be writing up a storm this year. It was recently announced that the Wild Flag singer/guitarist would be working with her Portlandia partner Fred Armisen on a spoof travel book based around the popular IFC series. An announcement from Riverhead Books, as reported in the New York Times, doesn’t give too many clues about when the memoir will be available, and no title is forthcoming at preset. The Times article says the book will focus on “her life in music,” but presumably her acting and writing career will also feature.
