Call me old fashioned, what with being married to an actual flesh and blood woman, because automaton love is definitely in. The fall movie season brings us Lars and the Real Girl, in which Ryan Gosling is in a committed relationship with a life-size doll. And here Richard Hawley, the ex-Pulp guitarist whose new album Lady's Bridge drops next week (October 2), gets cozy with a mannequin. There's somewhat NSFW bedroom action about half way through, so beware of that. You wouldn't want a co-worker moseying by and thinking you were watching porn; and then you really wouldn't want to have to explain that it's just a mannequin, because then it seems like that's your fetish. You freak. But hey, definitely keep the video rolling after that, because it's got a witty little ending.
