Via Billboard:Indie kids love them some Boss. From the redux of Nebraska Sub Pop put out some years back featuring Damien Jurado, Crooked Fingers, and Son Volt to The Hold Steady garnering accolades for a very Springsteenian sound, Bruuuuuuce isn't too old for the young 'uns to enjoy. Fittingly, some marquee indie names will be participating in a Springsteen tribute concert going down April 5th at Carnegie Hall in New York. M. Ward, Joseph Arthur, Kristin Hersh, Josh Ritter, and mainstream-buckin' grandaddy Steve Earle will all be on hand. Then there are the "others": Jewel, Pete Yorn, Babyface, and the Bacon Brothers. Not so hot, those. Concert revenue will go to support youth music education.
