Rock out with Jon Bovi

Some of Saturday Night Live's funniest skits in recent years have had a musical theme: "Lazy Sunday," Blue Oyster Cult needing to bring more cowbell, Will Ferrell's absurdist Robert Goulet impressions. The trend continues with Jon Bovi, a band trying to get signed by simply switching around the wording of some famous songs. Victims include their obvious-but-denied forefathers Bon Jovi, The Scorpions, and even Usher.

This was definitely one of the worst skits so far this season, and that's saying a lot. Just horrible.

Oh, come on. It was great. Completely stupid, but nothing is wrong with that every now and then.

Horrible. Not funny at all.

Not feeling this at all. Complete train wreck at the end with the "pen in the butt" thing. This show needs to be put out of its misery.

[...] If MTV is giving airtime to Bon Jovi, I think it would only be fair to extend the same to Jon Bovi. [...]
