Kanye throws another hissy fit at MTV Europe Awards

via CNN
Kanye, save the whinging for natural disasters. At least then it's put to good use.
In a bum rush the stage moment second only to KRS-One attacking P.M. Dawn, Kanye protested the award for best video going to knob twiddlers Justice vs. Simian for their video "We Are Your Friends". Being the cinephile he is, Kanye cited the video's budget of a million dollars and inclusion of Pamela Anderson as grounds for its superiority. He also mentioned its use of him "jumping over canyons and shit".
Clearly Kanye was not concerned that he needed another award, having won for Best Hip Hop artist. Rather, he was concerned that when he loses, the "award show loses ... credibility". He then proceeded to tug at the award, ran off with arms flailing backstage, and sat in a corner, sulking.
Actually, Kanye draped an arm around one of the winners, and in deference to the duo, said "it's nothing against you, I haven't seen your video". Class all around. The video in question is either an artsy take on what happens when your jerk ass friend finds you asleep and plays pranks, or a PSA on the dangers of stacking furniture too high.
If you're willing to wait through some commercials, MTV has the award show excerpt. We'd also like to present this year's winner for MTV Europe's Best Video!

Until rewatching this, I forgot how ignorant and incomprehensable he was during this rant. Well this time he has gotten upset over the MTV Europe Music Awards, in which he came uninvited onto the stage to protest his video not winning. A true cool and classy act that one is, especially when he told the winners “it'''s nothing against you, I haven'''t seen your video''". [...]
