For the second year in a row, Democracy (a type of government that was created about a billion years ago; ask your mom) reigns here at Prefix as we ask you, our loyal readers, for your picks for the Best Albums of 2009. Once you've all had your say, we'll run down your picks (which are also ours, since we're creating lists right along with you) in a comprehensive list once it gets closer to year's end.
Here's how it works: follow the link to the list-making application, and select as many albums as your heart desires (as long as your list doesn't include Chris Cornell's Scream, that is) to add to your list. Then go ahead an arrange them in your order for the best of the year. Then you can check out other users' lists, what albums are winning, and your picks for 2008's Best Music. As well as the comprehensive list of your picks, we'll also be having a Best Concert Photo Contest, and a list of the year's best songs.
