Beirut Announce Tour

To coincide with the August release of The Rip Tide, Zach Condon is taking his Beirut band out on the road over the course of the next four months or so. He will be leading the multi-instrumentalist six-piece that also features *deep breath* Perrin Cloutier on accordion and piano; Paul Collins on electric and upright bass; Ben Lanz on trombone, piano, and tuba; Nick Petree on drums; and Kelly Pratt and trumpet and euphonium. They have to make that whole. Hell, they deserve credit for not only playing multiple instruments but also bringing the full sound heard on Beirut’s albums to life with just six players.

View the tour dates and a live cover of Caetano Veloso’s “O Leãozinho” below. The Rip Tide is out Aug. 30 on Pompeii Records.
