Do we know that her purchase of the rights necessarily means it's headed for Hollywood?

It seems like a lot of projects where film rights are sold never really materialize.I think Courtney could produce a film version with a budget of less than a thousand that would still be better than Gus Van Sant's LAST DAYS.Someone owes Kurt a better film...
Eric Fitzgerald
Even in the hands of a decent, talented, well meaning dude like Van Sant, this went badly. I doubt a dash of shine and polish would help matters.
Jeff Klingman
Authoritative if and only if "authoritative" means "the story the way Courtney Love wanted it told." Michael Azzerad's account is far more interesting, well-written, and best of all, is authorized. Not only that, but the film culled from the Azzerad interviews will be better and less Anthologized than whatever Love does with the film rights to Heavier Than Heaven.
