what the fuck? garbage is horrible! or you kidding me? this is the worst post i've ever seen on this site!all garbage ever did was hopelessly attempt to sound like Curve. Curve had better songs, cooler guitars, and a way better singer. compared to Toni Haliday, shirley manson is nothing but a joke.

Does everyone really hate Garbage that much? They sound pretty dated now, but I never thought they were bad - just really really '90s.

Oh, I don't hate them. I think they're ok. But it's just sort of generic. Like if I were flipping through the radio, then I'd probably leave one of their songs on. But I wouldn't go out and buy a Garbage album, because given the choice between listening to that CD or something else I already own, I'd never opt for Garbage.I was just asking if the writer was maybe giving the band more credit than they deserve based solely on the looks of Manson.

That all makes sense. I'm curious about Spaceman's extreme dislike, though...

Garbage is fantastic...they keep reinventing themselves and all band members are extremely talented...and they are great at performing live!

is everyone so jealous that they have to say bad things about her? i think so...

Curve are not bad, but frankly there is a reason why they remain in obscurity while Garbage have moved on to bigger things.
