Anderson Silva: “A Lot of People Thought I Was Gay”

According to a Cagepotato.com report, UFC Middleweight Champion Anderson Silva admitted in a recent interview with the Brazilian monthly magazine Tatame that many of his peers thought he was a homosexual growing up.

“We would wear a dress, put on her shoes,” Silva admitted, referring to the fact that his sister dressed him up in her clothes until he was in his early teens.  “And because I am very vain about my appearance, and have a high voice, a lot of people were sure I was gay.”

Silva has been married to his wife, Dayane, for over a decade, and the couple has three sons and two daughters.
